Safety & trust
Flow VIN is the only car marketplace in Israel that verifies every listing against Ministry of Transport records before publishing. Every action — from photographing to closing the deal — protects you and the buyer.
Exclusive to Flow VIN
Reading a description isn't enough — Flow VIN cross-checks every listing against the official Ministry of Transport and Israel Police records. Three checks run automatically the moment a seller hits "Publish":
Before a listing goes live, the AI sends the vehicle number to the Ministry of Transport's public database (data.gov.il). If the declared year, manufacturer, fuel type, and ownership match the official record, the listing receives a green "Verified by Ministry of Transport" badge. Discrepancies are not shown to the public — they enter a moderation queue.
Active license-plate registryIf the vehicle number appears in the Ministry of Transport's "Final Cancellation" database (1.16 million vehicles officially decommissioned — accident, dismantling, age), the listing is automatically blocked from publication. There's no way to bypass — not manually, not through support. A decommissioned vehicle cannot be sold as active.
Final write-off registryThe stolen vehicle database is not public in Israel — it's managed internally by the Israel Police, accessible via the "Stolen Vehicle" app. We are in the process of obtaining official API access. The code is ready and will be activated once access is approved. Until then, any vehicle reported as stolen is manually flagged by the moderation team and blocked.
Stolen Vehicle app — Israel PoliceThe checks repeat on every re-publish and on moderation demand. Results are stored on the listing and available to the support team.
Verification against the authorities is the foundation — these are the layers that protect you from the day you list your car until the deal closes.

The AI automatically detects and removes the license plate from every public photo. The original backup is stored with us, encrypted.
Every message is scanned automatically: attempts to get a phone number, suspicious links, off-platform payment requests — flagged instantly.
A transparent, explained trust score: verified seller, vehicle license, photo quality, price within market range, and more — so the buyer knows what they see.
Verified sellers get a Verified badge. A higher verification level requires phone and vehicle-license verification.
Plate numbers and VINs are encrypted on our server (AES-256-GCM). Access to the decryptor is limited to authorized staff and fully logged.
Before publishing, a listing goes through an AI scan for inconsistencies (mismatched spec, abnormal price, misleading description). Medium-to-high severity findings enter the moderation queue.
In the deal room, the AI agent negotiates on your behalf — and the limit you set (the seller’s minimum or the buyer’s maximum) stays completely secret. The other side never sees it; the deal closes only within the range you approved.
Beyond the protections — these are the tools that give you transparency and control before you reach out to a seller.
Every listing is verified against Ministry of Transport records on data.gov.il — owners, mileage, engine size, and deregistration — with a clear trust-light indicator.
Show only sellers who verified identity and ownership, with a trust score and real reviews from past buyers.
Ask the AI any question about a car — it answers only from the listing details, with no marketing embellishments.
Find similar models from a photo — another way to make sure you are comparing the right cars.
Save a search or a listing and get alerted to a price drop or a matching car — no pressure to close fast.
All safety and trust details are available in Hebrew, Arabic, English, and Russian — for an informed decision in your language.
